GIFT Fellows

Gray Institute for Functional Transformation (GIFT) is a 40-week mentorship in Applied Functional Science®. Through engaging education, encouragement, and empowerment, the program raises a select group of movement professionals to deliver an elite level of knowledge, care, and analytical ability. Graduates of GIFT, or Fellows of Applied Functional Science (FAFS), serve in all areas of training and therapy from local clinics and clubs to the highest levels of sport and care.

3DMAPS®

3DMAPS is a functional assessment system that empowers movement professionals to identify and treat dysfunction and deliver strategies and techniques to guide patients & clients to success. 3DMAPS is called "the holy grail of human movement" because of its comprehensive analysis tools and treatment/training systems. Using analysis and performance movements authentic to everyday life, certified 3DMAPS movement professionals deliver individualized treatment and training targeted at the goal(s) of the patients, clients, or athletes they serve. Note: In addition to 3DMAPS-certified professionals, GIFT Fellows have a deep understanding of these concepts and practices.

CAFS

Professionals who have obtained their Certification in Applied Functional Science® (CAFS) can provide assessment, treatment, and training programs tailor-made for each individual patient or client. CAFS empowers movement professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to create a treatment plan based on an individual's abilities and goals. Using industry-specific language, CAFS is often called a "corrective exercise" certification because of the focus on developing individualized treatment and training that can be used to help correct dysfunction. Active Aging (AAS) is a groundbreaking specialization for movement professionals who want and need to enrich their understanding of working with aging clients. Female Chain Reaction (FCR) explores the biomechanics unique to the female anatomy and empowers specialists to identify, assess, and treat dysfunction, both common and complex, in the Pelvic Core Neuromuscular System. FCR equips movement professionals with the skills needed to provide effective treatment and training based on the scientific principles of Applied Functional Science®. Foot / Ankle

Foot/Ankle Specialists (FAS) explore how the foot and ankle moves and affects everything the body does. Their understanding of the foot and ankle biomechanics impacts their ability to successfully treat and train people suffering from pain, dysfunction, and other injuries. Since most conventional movement education does not offer a comprehensive breakdown of the foot and ankle, practitioners often have to make educated guesses without understanding the true nature of the dysfunction. This course fills in those gaps and much more. As the foundation of nearly all human movement, having a deep understanding of the foot and ankle complex is a significant advantage in treatment and training. Note: In addition to FAS specialists, GIFT Fellows have a deep understanding of these concepts and practices.

Functional Golf System (FGS) organizes, sequences, and delivers individualized golf-specific training programs to movement professionals. Leveraging over 250 golf-specific movements, the system empowers the movement practitioner to "prepare the body to make the swing." With 12 different training programs that can be personalized to each client, FGS can meet the needs of any golfer from beginner to elite professional.
