Program Dates

  • Start Date: February 4, 2027
  • End Date: November 6, 2027
  • Mandatory GIFT Gatherings (Online + Gatherings Option only):
    • Gathering 1: May 12–15, 2027
    • Gathering 2: November 3–6, 2027

Tuition & Fees

A non-refundable $200 Application Deposit is due within five (5) business days of application submission. This deposit will be applied as a credit to your Initial Installment. Failure to submit the deposit within the stated timeframe may result in removal from consideration.

Once accepted, you will confirm your selection of either the Online Only or Online + Gatherings format and choose from one of five available payment plans. Full tuition details and plan breakdowns can be found here: grayinstitute.com/gift-financial-information

  • Initial Installment or In-Full Payment is due by January 15, 2027.
  • Late Payments may incur a 1.5% penalty.
  • Accounts 30+ days overdue may be grounds for dismissal at GIFT's discretion.

Note: Tuition does not include airfare or lodging. Import taxes for international shipments (e.g., the GIFT Box) are the participant's responsibility.

Eligibility

GIFT is open to professionals and paraprofessionals in the movement industry:

  • Athletic Trainers
  • Chiropractors
  • Kinesiologists
  • Medical Physicians
  • Occupational Therapists (OTs)
  • Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs)
  • Personal Trainers (ACE, ACSM, NASM, ISSA, NSCA)
  • Physical Therapists (PTs)
  • Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs)
  • Strength & Conditioning Coaches
  • Other applicants may be considered upon special review.

Intellectual Property & Content Use

The curriculum, content, materials, and methodologies presented throughout the GIFT program — including Applied Functional Science®, Functional Manual Reaction®, and all associated concepts, systems, and techniques — are the intellectual property of Gray Institute®.

GIFT Fellows are encouraged to apply what they learn in direct service to their clients and patients, including explanation, individual instruction, treatment, and training.

However, Fellows may not use GIFT program content — in whole or in part — to teach, instruct, or educate other professionals in any educational setting, workshop, seminar, course, or similar format without the express written consent of Gray Institute® or an appropriate license agreement. This restriction applies regardless of whether compensation is received, and is especially applicable to any paid educational offerings.

Violations of this policy may result in removal from the GIFT program, revocation of the FAFS credential, and/or legal action. For licensing inquiries, contact gift@grayinstitute.com.

Program Cancellation Policy

Gray Institute reserves the right to cancel the GIFT program if minimum enrollment is not met by January 31, 2027. If canceled, all payments received will be refunded in full.

Agreement

By submitting your application and deposit, you confirm that you:

  • Understand and agree to all GIFT program terms outlined herein.
  • Will complete your Initial Installment payment by the required deadline.
  • Acknowledge the attendance requirement at both GIFT Gatherings for those in the Online + Gatherings option to receive the Functional Manual Reaction® Certification.
