What is Collaborate+?
Collaborate+ is the new GIFT Grad Program for Fellows of Applied Functional Science® — a higher-level track in learning, mentorship, leadership, and innovation, centered on co-creating a brand-new Gray Institute® course for the Movement Industry.
Who is eligible to apply?
Graduated GIFT Fellows (FAFS) with no outstanding GIFT tuition balance. If you’re on an active plan that’s current, you’re eligible.
When does it start?
Collaborate+ begins in February 2026 with the Preparation Phase, where you’ll receive your Welcome Kit, complete two new certifications, and take a leadership assessment.
The program then officially kicks off in May with the Participation Phase—a 25-week journey that spans both GIFT Gatherings and includes weekly engagement and Zoom sessions.
Finally, the Publication Phase concludes the program, with Gray Institute® producing and releasing the new course in 2027, recognizing all Collaborators.
Is in-person participation required at the Gatherings?
No. All pertinent content will be delivered online. For those who cannot attend the two Gathering events, all Collaborate+ sessions will be streamed live and recorded. That said, because Collaborators will have access to our GIFT Gatherings, there is significant value in attending in person. The connections, shared experiences, and deeper collaboration that occur face-to-face are strongly encouraged — but if online is the only way you can participate, it is permitted.
What course topic will we build?
Fascia — transforming the buzz into a practical, AFS-grounded framework for performance, rehab, and prevention.
How many participants will be accepted?
Capacity is strictly limited to 30 Collaborators.
What do I receive for participating?
Some fun items in your welcome kit, recognition as a Gray Institute® Collaborator (upon meeting standards and submitting the mini capstone), three certifications and credentials including access to the new course plus three seats to give away, and one year of FREE Gray Institute® Membership.
How does the free Membership work?
Every Collaborator receives one year of FREE Gray Institute® Membership, which includes access to additional courses, credentials, and CEUs. If you do not currently have a Membership, your first-time access will begin in March 2026 at no cost. If you already have an active Membership, Gray Institute® will simply extend your renewal date by 12 months for FREE. Note: This Membership benefit applies only to individual accounts. It is not valid for accounts already under a Group or Enterprise plan.
What will I create during the program?
A short “mini GIFT Talk” (5-min synthesized case study) aligned to the course topic. Approved talks will be published in the Membership.
What’s included in the Preparation phase?
A Welcome Kit (ships Feb 2026), two new CEU-approved certifications (3D Functional Movement Coach & 3D Functional Golf Coach), a leadership assessment, and curated research resources.
What is the investment and what payment options are available?
In-Full: $4,275 (by Jan 31, 2026) or 1-Year Monthly: $375/mo (Jan–Dec 2026). With GIFT Giving GIFT, it’s $3,500 in-full or $291.67/mo.
What is GIFT Giving GIFT and how does it connect to Collaborate+?
GIFT Giving GIFT is our referral incentive program that celebrates Fellows who Play-It-Forward® by encouraging the next generation of GIFT. For Collaborate+, it means you can participate at a significant discount—bringing the investment down to $3,500 in-full or $291.67/month. Beyond the savings, it strengthens the GIFT community by helping more Fellows begin their transformational journey.
Is there revenue sharing for the new course?
No. Aside from all the benefits of the program, such as gaining influence through participation and recognition, Collaborators can assist in helping select the following year’s Collaborate+ topic.
